A Little Of Dis & A Little Of Dat

Here we go with some of my random thoughts...........

...........not that these thoughts have any worth........but sometimes a man has to wonder about stuff.

I remember seeing old films of people striking oil and the oil would be spewing all over the place and people were covered with it and it was a huge mess..............we were told that this was a good thing.............somebody struck it rich!.........remember the Beverly Hillbillies?........Ole Jed Clampett struck oil and moved to Bev-er-ly.........Hills that is.....swimming pools........movie stars!

Oil is supposedly scarce these days and we are said to be dependent on foreign oil. As you know by now, somebody hit the motherlode while drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico, off the coast of Louisiana...........hmmmm.....Clampett territory? Well.......You would think people would be all excited about it.......but no. Supposedly, we are still being led to believe that oil is scarce and that it is hard to find........huh?............if it is so scarce and such a limited supply in this part of the planet, then why are we hearing reports where each day the amount spewing out of the floor of the Gulf is increasing in huge numbers and I also hear reports that it appears that this "leak" could go on for months and months......even years and years! This doesn't all add up to me.

And where has Al Gore been during all of this?.........hehehehe......

Today, the boogeyman is BP..........but the real boogeyman sits in Washington DC. Those that made laws restricting all new oil drilling to be so far off the coast that disasters such as this are hard to remedy. The even bigger problem with the oil disaster is that hurricane season starts about now.......this is not a good thing. The Gulf gets its fair share of tropical storms and the problem with this is that you have to remember where these storms get their water from. My guess is that a hurricane might suck up that oily water and dump it from the coastline to miles and miles inland..............think its a mess now?.......we ain't seen nuthin' yet. Stay Tuned!

I am a Baltimore Orioles fan.........and the team absolutely sucks this year.............but I am still a fan............well........there is always hope for next year. It boggles my mind that hitting has been a problem for the past 12 years or so............and we have changed managers, players, stadium attendants, hot dog vendors, and Boog Powell's t-shirts two or three times a year.............but one thing remains constant in the dugout............Terry Crowley the Orioles hitting coach..........Crowley somehow has kept his job all of these years. I do not understand the logic in this.

Another thing I do not understand is..........

..........Former Orioles pitcher and now part of the MASN broadcast team. Notice how he always looks slanted. On camera, he always leans to the side as he speaks..........maybe it his hairstyle........the hair is to heavy on one side. I think it is also the cause for Palmer's continual flubbing and stuttering of players names. I have one other pet peeve regarding Jim Palmer.........he has an obvious and apparent crush on Derek Jeter. The Orioles could be playing against the San Francisco Giants and at least twice during the broadcast he will mention Derek Jeter who plays for the Yankees. I could understand referencing Jeter regarding statistics, but when the broadcast goes like this: "Wigginton got all of that one and as he heads towards second base, Jeter..................."...................Jeter?.........C'mon Jim..........this ain't New York and Jeter has nothing to do with this game. Maybe Palmer is just getting a bit senile.

In a few months, Obama's hair will look like Nelson Mandela's hair...........don't laugh, he no longer dyes it.........it is getting grayer and grayer.

Ever see this guy?.............it's Boston Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis. He's the one whose batting stance looks like a Wii character in the batters box. Everytime I see Youkilis, whose real name, by the way, is Weiner..............that's right, he is a Jewish ballplayer.............everytime I see Youkilis, I am thinking........

Twins separated at birth?

What is it with politicians that they think that if they roll up their sleeves for an appearance in public and for a photo op, that you and I will think they are "working hard". I see this kind of stuff and it just assures me that the end of the world is upon us all. Furthermore, if you or I go to the coast or the beach on the Gulf Coast to get to the bottom of what is happening, we would not walk along that beach eating snowcones..........are you kidding me?.........do you see how hard they are "working"...........how do we know they are "working"?........the snowcones?........NO!.......it is the rolled up sleeves!.........It boggles my mind that would even wear a long sleeved shirt there. I have been to Louisiana at this time of year..........it ain't cold. You can't tell me they couldn't afford a short-sleeved shirt or two. How about a t-shirt and some cut-off jean shorts?

Back to the Orioles again............this is their catcher Matt Wieters............the alleged future superstar...........who can't seem to hit his way out of a paper bag. Think pop-outs and double plays. Whenever I see Wieters face on tv, I am reminded of this guy........

............that's right..........Joran van der Sloot........the soon to be deceased murderer.

Things are just terrible.........ain't it?

Maybe Wieters should grow a beard and start looking like Kevin Youkilis.

April Fools Day

Okay.......I know it's been several days since I last posted on the blog.........I simply chose not to do so even though there has been much to write about. After some nearly deep consideration, I figured I would keep the majority of stuff that I would write.......to myself.......and thus probably keep from getting on some anti-government blacklist...........oh......and lest anyone think it is not possible or probable, I DO know the locations of everyone that reads this blog.......and Washington DC comes up often........so there. Don't take that as me being paranoid in any way shape or form.......I am not........but surely you must know by now that I have absolutely no trust in the US government and the thugs that run it. Oh well......I am getting off into a rant of which I have been avoiding so I will get a grip and resist and get back to the April Fools thang.

Happy April Fools Day everybody. What better day than to recognize and give kudos to President Obama..........after all........he sure does know how to round up and capitalize on every fool in the United States.......from now on he should always be remembered as the Leader Of Fools. Without any doubt, we are all going down the tubes. On a side note........go figure that the government deadline for us to turn in our census forms is April 1st........how appropriate.

Also, it probably is no coincidence that April Fools Day this year comes right after the day that Jehovah's Witnesses attend their annual ritual of rejecting the symbolic flesh and blood of Jesus Christ.....known as "the Memorial"..........what a bunch of fools.

So here is to all of the Fools............don't you feel all warm and fuzzy?

Another Piece Of My Mind

Here are a few odds and ends about some things that have been on my mind lately. I have also tossed in some observations that I have had that maybe you haven't had. So let's get started, shall we?

Some of you may know that there had been some talk about how our government might tax soft drinks. Another sin tax like the cigarette taxes. The spiel this time was that the consumption of soft drinks such as Coke and Pepsi contributes to obesity and thus costs us dearly in the form of higher health care costs. The specific problem was said to be diabetes and the culprit is sugar. Furthermore, they tossed in the word "children".........you know.......as in "childhood obesity" and "it's for the children". I followed the story for several months now wondering if in fact they would actually shove a new tax down our throats in the form of the Soda Tax. Not much had been mentioned in the media about it.........it kinda disappeared............nobody was saying how it was coming along..................until yesterday. Well...............not really yesterday. Yesterday, it was all over the news that drinking soft drinks "causes cancer of the pancreas". Huh?...........are you kidding me?..........I have been drinking sodas forever now and they are just now saying this?

I ain't buying it, folks. This is bullshit. Hmmmmmm..........something is odd about this "news" story..........so I did a little research. Why now?...........why are they spreading this "major discovery" now? I did a Google search for information about the proposed Soda Tax to see what was being said about it lately. I discovered that the Soda Tax was defeated in committee by lobbyists for the soft drink industry as well as other industries that are heavily related to the consumption and purchase of sodas. I think this is fantastic news..........the soda tax ain't got a chance...................right?

Wrong. When things do not go the politicians way, or when things aren't happening the way the politicians want it......well........they have to demonize things and toss in the word "children" and then proceed to incite the big scare tactic to lure common people into actually agreeing to be taxed to death. The group of thugs that were and are behind the proposed soda tax have been consorting and scheming and have now tossed the big fear tactic upon us.......thus the news story that soft drinks cause pancreatic cancer. I can see it coming now................they might even suggest that the consumption of Coke and Pepsi is the cause of excessive gas resulting in an inordinate amount of burping and flatulence, thus contributing to global warming.........you get the picture.

People better wake up and start taking action. Vote every one of these thug mobsters out of office. And don't try to tell me about some these so called "fresh faces" in politics being acceptable. Consider that now that Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon has now been replaced by Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, somebody "new" will have to fill the empty spot that Rawlings-Blake had. The "new" City Council President has been named and most people will be thinking at how he is a "fresh face" on the political scene in Baltimore...................believe it? Not me.

When asked about if she will be able to work with the new city council president, her replacement, Rawlings-Blake said that it should be no problem at all because they have been working together for over 14 years now.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..................got that?...........14 years!..................new?...........fresh face?...............are you kidding me? All I can say is..............where and who are the people that live and work in Baltimore that are absolutely delighted about the past 14 years where Rawlings-Blake and her successor have been working together? The more things "CHANGE"...........remember, that was the Obama campaign mantra............the more things STAY THE SAME.


Here is a nice aerial photo of Maryland.............notice how white everything is?................it is called snow.............and there is alot of it..........and as I write this, there is yet another winter storm warning in effect and snow will begin falling again this afternoon............another 12 to 20 inches of snow is possible...........this ain't a good thing.................somebody ought to give Al Gore a shovel and send him to Baltimore...................this "global warming" crap is an insult to everyone because every person with at least a hint of common sense surely can see that Al Gore and people of his ilk are just capitalizing on a scare tactic that they have created..............the only thing that truly is scary is the fact that Al Gore was so very close to becoming President..........one can only imagine what things would have been like if he had been in control of this country. People should be sick and tired of being scammed by these blue-blooded millionaire politicians.

I saw Madonna on tv recently.........she was "performing" for the benefit of Haitian earthquake victims. To me, Madonna is simply an entertainer.......not an artist........not a musician........and certainly not all that much of an inspiration...........unless you aspire to be a media "ho". As I watched Madonna, I noticed how she has aged considerably and just how much she has begun to morph into yet another entertainer...........

.............yep..........that's right.............Judy Tenuta............at least Judy plays an accordion and doesn't pretend that she is important.......hehehe.

You may not know who this person is............his name is Reggie Nalder and he is an actor. He has been in some famous movies and television shows..........even Star Trek...........and I was under the impression that he had long since passed away after a very long career.

Back in the day.......when I worked at the old Vilma Theater as an usher, the movie "Mark Of The Devil" ran for about a month and every day I would see Reggie Nalder's face up on the big screen..................Back then, I never would have imagined that I would ever see anyone even closely resembling him..........if that would happen it surely would be one of the signs of the end of the world.....................

...........well.............guess what............it's the end of the world!

Damn if Nancy Pelosi doesn't look exactly like Reggie Nalder.

I may have mentioned this before, but U2 singer Bono looks just like Robin Williams.

The Baltimore Ravens did fairly well this past season. I noticed that the Ravens head coach, John Harbaugh looked awfully familiar to me..........I couldn't quite figure out who he looked like.......and then it hit me..............once again that old job as an usher in a movie theater gives me the answer................

Okay.......on a more serious note............remember how George Bush was criticized for his response when he was first informed of the 9-11 attack? He was at an elementary school.......remember? People criticized him for years and kept saying that he was a puppet and could only say what others told him to say. Unless he had a script, he had difficulty coming up with a response on the fly..............hmmmmmm.

Today we have Obama.............take a gander at the picture shown above. Obama was in an elementary school...........and he ain't speaking on the fly.............in fact he hardly ever speaks without his teleprompters...........imagine that..........he brought teleprompters to an elementary school!..................are you kidding me?..............let there be no doubt that Obama is controlled by something or someone in power over him. Let there be no doubt that Obama is a very scripted president. Let there be no doubt that Obama is a puppet...........where are those that criticized Bush?..............I can tell you where they are.........they are busy trying to distract you.......they are running interference...........they are busy whining and moaning at how Sarah Palin had some "cheat" notes scribbled on the palm of her hand when she addressed the recent tea party gathering in Nashville........................oh the shock.........oh the shame............how dare Palin do such a thing?

Let's see............Obama good........everybody else bad...............it's the end of the world.

Happy New Year! 2010

To quote Todd Rundgren, "Here we are again at the start of the end.........but there's more."

After looking back.......way back.......and reminiscing........it is hard to believe we find ourselves at the start of the year 2010............wow........I just never imagined or even thought of what it would be like. As it turns out, while there are so many things that we have today that are great and useful to our lives, sadly there are way too many things that are just plain disgusting. How can we all do as Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon says and "Move forward" while there is so much that is turned upside down and going backwards?

In my own personal life, I have only a few regrets and if I had everything to do over again I probably would not want to change much. Could life have been better?.........sure.........Could I have done things differently?..........probably so..........but everything could have been different if we all weren't busy being screwed by our politicians all of these years. While we were all so busy getting on with life and not paying much attention, the politicians and our government as a whole have been on a course setting up our demise......slowly and surely. Now, in 2010......the pace seems to be hurried and not so slow as it has been before. Giant steps backward have taken place and the sad thing about it is that each and every one of us share some of the blame for it for not paying attention and leaving all sorts of doors open for the corruption and ridiculousness that we have today in our world.

Sure, I could probably try to put together a list of all sorts of stuff that fit the mold here as examples...........but I really don't think I need to be the one to point out all of the details for you.......just pay a little more attention folks and you can't miss the obvious with your own eyes and ears. What I will do, though, is offer up a few of my own New Years resolutions.........not that those can or will be accomplished.......or that anyone actually cares what Ole Signtopia wants to do as if what I do is all that important or interesting...........hmmmmm........well......apparently there are a few people and I know this because I do have more than just a few that actually follow this blog.

So here we go............

Signtopia's New Year's Resolutions 2010:

1. Push for the Fair Tax plan as proposed by Neal Boortz. The Fair Tax plan makes good sense and now, more than ever, we need it badly. Can this be done?........only if everybody steps up to the plate and demands it. We all want what is fair.......right?...........but we might need my next resolution accomplished first in order to get this one.

2. Tighten the reins........as if there are any........on the existing politicians and hold them accountable. Why should we let them do things and get away with their shenanigans and reward them with re-elections? I personally plan to do my part by voting each and every one of them out of a job until the slate is wiped clean. No easy task.....but we can do this.

3. More beach vacation. Simple enough........I could easily take the short drive to Ocean City, MD a few times a year......but that won't do it for me........I would much rather be in the Caribbean.

4. More music. This resolution consists of a few actions on my part. Write a couple of songs. Go to a few more concerts such as a Todd Rundgren concert. More Uncle Murray Band.....hehehe.

5. Cut the hair. Yes.....cut the hair. I have grown it for quite some time and while it may have become my standard to have long hair, I did grow it ridiculously long for a reason and that reason was to donate it to Locks Of Love for cancer patients.

Okay.......not so bad.....only five resolutions.........I do have more, but why be whole hog about it?....hehehe.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

Apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

The Obama Deception HQ Full length version

Some people say Alex Jones is crazy. Some people think he isn't all that crazy. And then there are people that think that the whole world has gone crazy. Regardless of how crazy things are or how crazy some people might be or appear to be, the challenge is to figure out just what is exactly the truth about things. To figure out the truth, you must assemble the facts and follow where those facts take you. This film must be watched in its entirety. Do NOT just look at only one minute and come to any conclusions. I watched this film myself and it only confirmed alot of things that I have been noticing with my own eyes and ears..............the people are being hoodwinked in a major way.

Arrrrggghhhhh!

Sometimes you just wanna reach into your television or computer monitor and wring the necks of morons. For some reason such an act would be less violent than the majority of what is being broadcast through the airwaves and cables. Every time I see Nancy Pelosi she makes me nauseous. I understand that women do not want to show their age and do whatever they can to try to make themselves "pretty" and young looking. Well.....Pelosi ain't fooling nobody. It appears that even when she isn't surprised.......she always has that surprised look on her face. It must be the "cosmetic" facial surgery.......I don't know. Does she think that we aren't smart enough to know that at her age she has gray hair? Who is she foolin'? You? Me?.........I don't think so. My God!........please make her go away! This woman is not only psychotic looking but it is way too early for Halloween. Okay......okay........I apologize.......I should not write such things about some kid's grandmother. It is wrong to do that...........but..............it was bad enough when all of the politicians were men and that many of them..........even to this day............had their hair sculptured and dyed resulting in that "anti-whirlwind" kind of fake tv preacher look about themselves. But now we have Pelosi...................its like having a full technicolor nightmare. I tried to warn everyone about Pelosi. She was born and bred in the Little Italy neighborhood in Baltimore. Her maiden name is D'Alesandro. She has that corrupt Maryland Democrat type of blood running throughout her vieins.

She needs to go away......and soon. Meanwhile......while I may be wrong to have written such nasty stuff..........somebody else managed to come up with a picture that sums it all up:

There ya go.....................and as it turns out......this kind of thing is as infectious as the H1N1 virus on a half eaten enchilada in the suitcase of a fat frequent flyer to Cancun. .........hmmmmm......well...........there is just ONE other case that I have found :

Oooooooh Yeah!...............This "Joker" thing is getting out of control............but.........I can see the similarities between Pelosi & Obama and the Joker. Now if Life would imitate Art just a few times............these two will find a way to eliminate themselves.

Okay........enough "joker-ring" around.

I am not much on censoring and if I do I will specify the portion of your comment that I remove. Such entertainment cannot be purchased anywhere, folks. You can go back and review all of the posts I have made since I began this blog.

Furthermore, as you may have noticed........there are no ads on my blog. There are a couple of reasons for this. One is that I just simply haven't set it up for any ads and thus I make no money. And Two is that I simply do not have enough readers to warrant such. You may notice that I also do not have a "visitor counter" on my blog. I was tempted........but I kinda like not knowing exactly how many people are actually visiting my blog. Such info would have no bearing on what I write here.

I must say though, that It surely doesn't hurt to occasionally hear from those that stumble onto my blog. You can be a kind as you want or you can be as critical of the blog as you wish. You can rest assured that you will remain "anonymous" unless otherwise specified. That's the way I operate. Those that really know me already know my name and those that I myself already know, do not need to be reminded of who they are.......hehehe.

A little feedback would be nice.........occasionally.

Also.........popularity on the internet is not something I seek and it has never been the purpose of this blog. However..........if you happen to enjoy this blog, I do hope you would share it with your friends and families and co-workers, etc. There is nothing better than word-of-mouth promotion. Obama & The Smart Car

I know....I know.......it has been so long since I last posted anything on this blog that some may have though that I vanished off the face of the earth. Nope......I didn't do that.......nor have I run away from everything. Sure.....I wouldn't mind running off to some island somewhere and somewhat escaping all of the shenanigans that is going on in our country.......but I have decided that I will be sticking around and putting up a good fight. I am not a quitter.......I just occasionally go on hiatus.......hehehe.

There is much to get caught up on here and it will take me several days to get completely back in gear. You might wonder what has been going on with Ole Signtopia lately.......well.......I have been enjoying life as best as I can, considering the circumstances. In the next few days to come, I intend on sharing some of my recent experiences. Also, I am looking forward to a few things to come. I also need to vent my mind here......I have been silent way too long about too many things. You might have gotten the impression that I threw in the towel and gave up on everything............hmmmm.......maybe not a bad idea being a hermit. I am trying to come to grips with the future.......particularly my immediate future............I feel like I have just entered the game and I am looking forward to swinging the bat at everything thrown in my direction.......if you know what I mean.

Let me get off to a good start here and begin with what is considered by our government and all of the tree huggers out there............."global warming" or "climate change" as some call it. Well......have you been enjoying your weather? I firmly believe that our weather is cyclical.....climate is cyclical and our earth and universe is cyclical. There is nothing we can do about it and nothing we can do to change it unless everything blows up into smithereens. With that said........we find that there are many conniving evil people in power positions and enough morons willing to accept and believe their every word......NO.....this time I wasn't just talking about the Jehovah's Witnesses....hehehe........arrrrgggghhhh! So Obama wants us all to have "smart cars"............imagine that. I don't know about that term....."smart cars". Cars are cars........mechanical things intended to move you from one place to another. Sounds all well and good except that politicians, in particular, our so-called leaders such as Obama figured out that the car has been one way that citizens can vanish from their complete control. We can pretty much drive all over the place without being tracked easily unless we use a cell phone. Furthermore......some of the powers that be also are firm believers in eugenics. They believe they must do what they can to decrease the surface population of the planet..............just like an abortion. On one hand they wanted more votes, and then they want them killed off. Sounds like a giant conspiracy theory....right?...............well.......it isn't. This is reality, folks. Proof of such is seen in the following pictures:

Remember the Corvair? I liked the Corvair. Ralph Nader made a living out of getting the Corvair off the road and into oblivion......he said it was "Unsafe At Any Speed"......he even wrote a book entitled exactly that. It was said that it was bad because we didn't stand a chance in the Corvair in a collision. Rear engine.......nothing solid up front for protection.......you know the spiel. Oddly....it was ok to have a VW Beetle which also had a rear engine and nothing up front to protect you except your groceries in the trunk. The Corvair just had to go............and then there was the Pinto.......which I won't even get into that one...........and this brings us to today and the Smart Car:

Don't you just love it? The "Smart" car........Gee.....I wonder where the engine is??.........and HEY!..........Where is the trunk!??????

Ralph Nader ought to be jumping out of his skin over this vehicle but we haven't heard squat out of him. Maybe he is too busy driving a VW around..........maybe he is in a coma somewhere...........maybe he hasn't watched television since the last episode of Knight Rider. So at this point we are to accept the "smart cars" that our government wants the auto makers to produce. I recently was at the airport waiting for my son to come pick me up. As we stood there waiting I watched countless busses, trucks, SUV's, limosines and assorted mid-size to large cars pulling up to the curb and loading and unloading people with numerous, huge travel suitcases. I never saw a "smart car" picking anyone up. Imagine the problems with the smart car.....no place to pack your bags to go to the airports.........are we supposed to wear "smart clothes" that do not require changing for weeks at a time?........could that be next? The "smart car" idea just doesn't make any sense to me..........except if.........the whole idea is to.........

........make sure none of us can walk away from an accident.

They may be smiling now......but.......our government....well....let's say......those morons called politicians, are doing their darndest to ruin life as we know it and pass an unbelieveable debt to the kids shown above. Soon enough, my grandchildren will become old enough to understand what is happening and they will acquire such a hatred and disdain for the political system in this country that it will take probably a century to get to any point of trust of any political entity in any form. I already have this disdain and hatred in me and I cannot help but feel helpless. It is very frustrating to not be able to change anything for their benefit. Sure, I could call the politicians who allegedly represent me and my kids.......but we have all seen very clearly how good that does. These political morons do exactly the opposite of what the people want.

It is a sad day. These are sad times. And it didn't have to be this way.

Shame on those politicians. Shame on them. They should all be tried for treason...........but the big problem with that is that the judicial system favors these political puppets and they would simply walk off with a ton of money. Perhaps a revolution is coming.........perhaps a revolution is needed. Those who bought into the "change" spiel of Obama were fools. Maybe our society is made up of a majority of fools. I wasn't fooled by Obama, he never got my vote. This moron has done this country some major harm already and he is just getting started. It is gonna be a tough road ahead and the life we have all enjoyed up to this point is quickly fading fast. Everyone is being affected.

I don't have the answers, I wish that I did. I DO know that the politicians do not have the answers either. Shame on them. You all know, as well as I do, that if you are short on money and in a financial crisis in your own home with limited income, you will be eating alot of ground beef and hotdogs. The politicians?......not a chance. They will not do such a thing. They would rather take money from your children and children's children to fund their grandiose lifestyles and whims. Seriously, how could these morons justify spending hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars.....which we do not currently have.......to study the odors of pigs?!! It is beyond ridiculous at this point folks and it is time that we make our voices heard.

We should not let this stand. On the other hand, if you voted for any of these morons, I hope you are enjoying this right now.......because it is gonna get real ugly in the near future........and you will have alot of explaining to do to the kids in the picture above. Shame on you too.

Here is a message for our politicians..............start looking out for our interests immediately or there will be a price for you to pay. Next election, you are gone!

Holy Smoke!.......It's Almost Christmas!

Time is flying by quickly. I suppose that the busier you are, the faster time goes........and I can safely say that I have been very busy this past year. Alot has happened in the past year and I can see where it is possible that even more stuff to do will enter the picture next year. I am not complaining.........life should be lived to the fullest......within reason.

Just a few thoughts.............well.......maybe a few of those signs of the end that most people haven't noticed...........

We somehow managed to elect a man named Obama to be President of the U.S..........hmmm....does this mean that we will now have an ObamaNation for a country?.............you must admit that alot of folks already know that the whole enchilada is an "abomination".

It doesn't sit right with me that our new President's middle name is Hussein......this cannot be a good thing.

Is it a coincidence that Obama was touted as some sort of new messiah?.......he has been called Obamassiah by some radio show hosts............and who does Obama select to be his Chief Of Staff?...........none other than someone named Emmanuel........go figure.

The price of gasoline dropped and I haven't heard any reports that there was some sort of sudden increase in the amount of oil in the earth.......what is up with that?

They remade the movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still"..........as if the first one was so bad that people demanded it be done over.............Keanu Reeves as Klaatu?.......you got to be kidding me.

The late news is now an hour earlier. Imagine that. If they start saying that the early news is now an hour later.....look out.......it's almost over folks.

Bob Turk is still mumbling the weather at WJZ TV in Baltimore.

The Ravens had the Steelers beat.......but the officials managed to make some "corrections" and turn things around.............this is no surprise.

Hillary Clinton, instead of becoming President, accepts a job as a Secretary........go figure.........and the Pro-Women's groups are not outraged.

Oh well...............it is time to get ready for Christmas..........

Yet Another Step Towards Our Demise

As everyone knows by now, Obama was elected last night to be the 44th President of the United States. Sure, I voted for McCain........and if you have been reading this blog, you also know why I voted for him. Looking back, that Obama has won is not much of a surprise. There are many factors in this bloodless coup. If you think about it, recent history shows that the two party system has changed. Starting with Reagan, presidential terms seem to have gone from 4 years to 8 years. 8 years of Reagan, 4 years of Bush, 8 years of Clinton, 8 years of W., and now it will most likely be 8 years of Obama. Remember when the Republicans put up Bob Dole to run against Clinton so that Clinton could extend his term? Likewise, the Republicans have put up McCain to the wolves. Think of it as a bizarre fair trade agreement. McCain never had a chance against Obama, but he made it interesting by choosing Palin as a running mate. Still, look at how she was treated in the press............it is disgusting.

Ultimately, what the American voters did last night was elect a man who nobody really knows...........nobody has seen his birth certificate, he is unexperienced, has no major accomplishments as a Senator, and proposes to take us all a huge step towards socialism. It has been said that we get the kind of government we deserve............maybe we have had it too good and never realized it. Maybe it takes something such as this to wake us all up. Maybe this IS destiny. Maybe the "Change" that Obama will bring......won't be what people think it will be. Obama tickled alot of ears. I can understand that black Americans are proud that they once and for all, have a President of color, albeit he is half caucasian. But Obama is truly not elected on his abilities other than his ability to sound and look good. It is these two abilities that further the fact that the Presidency is a figurehead and nothing more.

I hope that I am wrong about everything and that Obama ends up being a decent and good president, but I will not be counting on that. Surely as you could on Bush to not tax us to death, none of us figured he would be the big spender that he turned out to be. I expect that Obama will show to be the very left wing democrat that he is and spend alot of money as well.........except with Obama every kind of tax will be increased and new taxes will be created. Let's not forget that "spread the wealth" routine of his. It looks like people such as myself will be funding the largest welfare program in history. Let's hope this lasts for only four years.

I Gotta Say This Stuff

I find myself accumulating certain thoughts about stuff and I have to get some of it off my chest,.....so here we go.........

As taxpayers, each and every one of you should be sick of the way things are. It's about time that each of you take action and let your voice be heard. NOW is the time for the FAIR TAX and get rid of the ridiculous tax system we have currently. Unfortunately, neither the Democrats nor the Republicans are entertaining the Fair Tax plan. This means that you need to tell them. Unfortunately, the politicians, even though there may be overwhelming outcry, will usually vote or act in the complete opposite of their constituents. This makes you wonder just WHO their "constituents" really are.

Case in point.....the Bailout of Wall Street. Where is OUR bailout?

If you or I rob someone, there are tremendous odds that we will be fully prosecuted when caught. When politicians rob us, nothing happens to them as a result......they were just doing their jobs.........imagine that!.........just doing their jobs. Well, they are not doing things right by any one of us. The overwhelming majority of politicians have continually worked against the people. It is about time that we take back control of things. If we do not..........we are doomed.

If you are not registered to vote and you just sit on your ass on election day, YOU are a major part of the problem. I would agree with you however, if you said "There isn't anyone worth voting for." The problem with that, though, is we need to think outside the box. The candidates may not be the best possible folks to elect, yet, each of us need to vote for ALL of us. You wouldn't be voting for the politician, you would be voting for YOU. If that sounds confusing, it is.
We have so many issues to deal with.....crisis after crisis. In the bigger picture, you might want to think about certain main underlying issues that, if those are not dealt with NOW, all of the other issues are moot.

In case you haven't noticed, our politicians have taken huge steps towards embracing Socialism.
This must be stopped in it's tracks. This issue alone should be enough reason to vote AGAINST Barack Obama and vote FOR John McCain. Some of you might say that we have to choose the lesser of two evils.........I might agree with that since I cannot justify voting for anyone completely evil.

Just think how out of control the politicians have become. Did anyone notice that your Senators and Representatives are supposedly acting and reflecting the people of their respective States? Ha!.........I cannot come up with one thing my own Senators have done for me .......ever. But I can CAN come up with tons of stuff that they have done TO me and you. Consider back during the Democratic Primary..........remember?......Hillary Clinton was battling Obama.........and she overwhelmingly was supported by the Democrat people in the State Of West Virginia. Even though she whooped Obama's butt in West Virginia, that ancient moron.......you know the one.......the old, blubbering, senile, career politician Robert Byrd gets on tv and announces that he supports Obama. What?

Again, when the people were against the bailout....overwhelmingly...........the politicians, overwhelmingly voted for it. Now I am thinking that something is very amiss here. Is it that the overwhelming majority of people are morons?........or is it that the overwhelming majority of politicians are morons? Take your pick............

Barney Frank...........Can somebody please explain to me how this fat blubbering, toothless moron, not only gets elected......but gets appointed to serious positions of power and control, and is NEVER held accountable for his contributions to the destruction of our economy? It's about time that people of the ilk of Barney Frank are thrown in jail for their crimes. At the very least, let's get him out of office and let him go to work for his money.

Remember?........I tried to warn everyone a long time ago when the Democrats took control of the House and the Senate. Pelosi and Hoyer have done zilch in the two years they have led.....until now. Their first action is the bailout........and the majority of the people were against that. I do not need to see any more. Let's vote these morons out of office.

So who am I going to vote for?

Arrrggghhh. Right now, the only breath of fresh air to enter the scene is Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin. I am willing to give her an opportunity to get her foot in the door to try to make changes. Of course, she would only be the Vice-President and be limited to her abilities, but it would be a step in the right direction. Obama is out of the question, he may be a relatively new face on the scene, but he is a Socialist. I cannot trust him one bit. He offers "Change" alright.

Third Party candidates?......hmmm......they are tempting.......but only because they would upset the cart. Problem with them is, not one of them stands out in any way , shape, or form. Perhaps by the time the next election comes around, maybe there will be someone that steps forth.

So......I am left with John McCain. I like McCain.....always did. I do not always agree with him and I don't like the idea that he is older than the hills.........but.........I think McCain has the ability to really change some things.

My vote goes for McCain and Palin.

Regardless of what happens......it is still the End Of The World!.....hehehe.

But seriously.........that time is soon.....and I surely wouldn't want to get to that day of judgement after having sat on my ass and not even bother to vote to make things better and hold politicians accountable and then get asked the question "What have you done to take care of the world that I loved so much?"

A Few Thoughts

Aren't you getting tired of hearing about this alleged "global warming"? For some reason there are certain people such as Al Gore that fully expect that the largest portion of human beings on this planet are complete idiot moron lemmings that will have no common sense and fall for every load of bullshit thrown their way. Today I read an article where NASA is planning to send a space probe toward the corona of the sun. They say that they want to learn why the sun does certain things such as:

Why is the sun actually cooler than its surrounding area?

What speeds up the radiation and ions from the sun after it is discharged?

I also ran across another report that states that the sun is currently at the end of a cycle and that for the past few years, the sun has been "quiet". Hmmmmm. What do they mean about "quiet"? It turns out that there has not been any sunspot activity for a few years. Hmmmmm.
No sunspots? The satellite industry surely won't complain about that. I also read where scientists say that a new sun cycle will start up in 2012..........Hmmmmmm.....now ain't that interesting? I recommend that people actually read up on the sun and what scientists are saying. It is very enlightening and totally flies in the face of all of this propaganda that we keep hearing in the media.

"Global Warming"..............think about it. The Earth does not radiate from within. The earth is not the source of heat. The Sun IS. If anything is actually getting hotter it would be the Sun. If anything is causing the earth to get "warmer" it has to be the Sun. Plain and simple. Politicians, such as Barack Obama, want YOU to believe that YOU are causing the planet to heat up. If you believe that, then you are a moron.

Oh.....and here is another little tidbit about the sun and the earth.............scientists say that in something like a billion years, the sun will have completely consumed the earth. In other words, the sun will likely become a black hole. Now imagine somebody trying to tell you that it would be YOUR fault that this is gonna happen...........Now also imagine somebody trying to tell you that there is something that mere humans can do to stop it from happening!

I am thinking that there should be at least one seat onboard that sun probe........for Al Gore.
And maybe we can tell him to bring back some pictures.........hehehe.

Well, I won't be voting for him. No, not because he has a cigarette.......hehehe.....but.....because he is a Marxist. Plain and simple. That a black man is a Marxist ought to be alarming to anyone. Some would say, "Hey now, Obama is only HALF black". Hmmmmm. Does this mean than it is his "white" side that is the Marxist portion? Well, I wouldn't vote for an all-white Marxist either......so there!

Howdy everybody!

Gee whiz it is June already! Much has been done and much yet to do.

Here's what is on my mind today........

Regarding Hillary Clinton..........I have been watching the news reports about the Democratic Primary Presidential Campaign and here we are at the alleged end of the line. It has been reported that Barack Obama has enough delegates to take to the convention and that Hillary will have to concede........hmmmm. It has also been reported that the Clinton campaign will be requesting that the Obama contingent pay for some of her campaign debt........hmmmm. It has been obvious that the "left-wing" media has been touting Obama as their man for President for quite some time......hmmm. Here is my take on all of this.

Personally neither Obama nor Hillary could convince me to vote for them.....not even if they offered me some money or promised to end world hunger..........hey......sometimes I enjoy being hungry. It seems to me that if Hillary was serious about really wanting the job as President and was determined to get that job and meant everything she has been saying on the campaign trail, then she would have to realize that the Democrat vote is split and that Obama has NOT had anything near a landslide victory. This means that she has at least as much a chance of winning in the general election as Obama does. Having said that, she also has to realize that her own party of Democrats has pretty much stabbed her in the back throughout this campaign. If she has been a "leader" of the democrat party, you sure couldn't tell it from boneheads like Ted Kennedy or Nancy Pelosi. So the message to Hillary is..............she needs to tell the Democratic Party where to shove it, and march forward and run for president as an independent candidate. If she does this, she still might not win, however, if she does indeed run as an Independent candidate she will be shoving her entire pantsuit up the ass of the Democrats.......a little payback.....because this would pretty much guarantee a victory for the Republican John McCain. I would have far more respect for Hillary if she played hardball and showed the intestinal fortitude and gall to become an Independent. How quickly everyone forgets how the Democratic Party dropped Joe Lieberman like a hot potato.....and he ran for office as an Independent and beat the Democrats in an election. Good for him.

Regarding Obama..............maybe you should read what I have written in the past about him. If he wins the general election and becomes president, it's all over folks.............stick a fork in this country. Perhaps I will go into detail in the future.

Regarding John McCain.........maybe he is a nice guy, maybe he ain't..........but I contend that he is our only alternative unless somebody pops up out of nowhere worth voting for.

They could have even came up with new stories about Blondie........but you and I know that Hollywood hasn't been able to come up with any new stories about anything in the past 20 years.

Let me tell you a story about Whoopie Goldberg. I remember that several years back she had been filming a movie in the Baltimore area and I just so happened to be walking past the Tremont Hotel and saw a large tour bus parked in front. I continued walking past and wondered whose bus it could be..........and as I approached the front entrance to the hotel, out comes Whoopie Goldberg and she looked at me, and I looked at her and I continued walking up the sidewalk. After about ten or so steps I looked back to see if she was getting on that tour bus. When I looked back........I saw her looking at me. Surely I did not look familiar to her...........then again, at that time I didn't look like Ted Danson either......hehehe.......oh well........I kept walking. Maybe she was stunned that I didn't pester her for an autograph......hehehe.

Now.......whenever I see Whoopie on television it is like seeing music producer Nile Rodgers.

And whenever I see Nile Rodgers............it is like seeing Whoopie. Go Figure!
