Las Vegas Trip - Inside Caesar's Palace

Yeah, yeah, yeah.........in a perfect world...............

We took a stroll through the vast premises of Caesar's Palace. Our starting point was the entrance to the shops.............think ritzy mall on steroids to the ninth power. It was church-like in a way...........the architecture.......the artwork..............very Italian...........and no expense spared.

You could spend a small fortune in a place like this.........but you do not need to..........you can do as I did and just take a stroll through it and window shop.......look at the various displays of art.........seek out the hidden celebrities........and people watch.

Marble everywhere............and yet even though it catches your eye........you can find other gems a few steps further.

Hmmmmm......now who could this be?............

.........it's none other than Mr. Gambler himself, baseball legend Pete Rose. Apparently Pete has a regular gig these days signing autographs at this sports memorabilia shop inside Caesar's.........go figure..........and NO........he wasn't choking when I snapped the picture...........hmmmmm.......maybe he was just flaunting that Rolex. I still say that he looks just like KC of KC & The Sunshine Band.

Another fifty feet down the walkway and I noticed something move out in the corner of my eye. I stopped and went back and had a better look............

...................yeah.................that's right.................this is Vegas dammit...........and what would a trip to Vegas be without seeing Elvis?

He was singing...........and pretty convincing too........you never know what you might see in Vegas..............hehehe.........I would have shit myself if he had a ham sandwich in his hand.

There is an abundance of statues everywhere.........

...........and of course, sky!

Where the Venetian was Venice, Caesar's is Rome.

You gotta look up to see what is looking down.

Nobody could ever say that they went to Vegas and found nothing to do that they could afford.

Did I mention that it was also like being in a museum?

Well.........I think you get the idea..............Caesar's is huge........and this was just the shopping area. You will have to visit their website or go there yourself to see the rest.

Stay tuned......one more post coming about Vegas and then I can catch up on some serious issues that I am chomping at the bit about.
