Riviera Maya Vacation - Part Seven

At the Grand Palladium Resort in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, there is no shortage of entertainment. Aside from several bars and a disco there are two theaters where you can find a show every night, twice per night. The shows are different every night and are a sight to see. From Broadway to traditional themes.........and lots of audience participation, the shows are not unlike what you might see on a cruise ship. For some folks, this kind of entertainment is no big deal.........for others.........well........it is very entertaining.

Since this was right in the heart of Mayan territory it was a welcome sight to see the performers doing dance routines and wearing costumes that represent the Mayans.

Colorful costumes........

............and an abundance of smiles. The entertainment staff are called the "People Of Palladium".

After each show, the performers leave the stage and mingle with the audience.......and they all appear to be very happy to pose for pictures.

Without a doubt, the performers work hard at their routines and during the shows you can see that they are very talented dancers.

As I said.........colorful.

And lots of smiles. At no time did I ever see any one of them without a huge smile.

There was a little bit of something for everyone........including a show aimed to please children.

The nice thing about these shows is the fact that they are part of your all-inclusive package.........if you want to see the shows. see as many as you wish.....or as few as you wish........no need for a ticket.

Without a mariachi band it just wouldn't be Mexico..............and sure enough.......I encountered these guys while I stood outside of the sports bar.

I asked for a photo and they happily obliged. They were waiting to go perform in a show onstage.

That is either one huge guitar.....or one very small dude......hehehe.

The whole idea is that you be entertained while there......and the Grand Palladium makes every effort to do exactly that.

Stay tuned!........more to come.......Part Eight is next.
