Time For Another Trip

I'll be a bit busy for the next two weeks..........I'll be driving from Maryland to Texas, then to Tennessee, and then back home. I have made lots of audio cds to listen to during the drive......that will be good. I plan on taking my time and I fully expect a minimal amount of stress. As for the Fourth Of July.............I will be making a batch of minestrone........very similar to Carrabbas.............and after everybody consumes that, the fireworks should begin within an hour or two.......hehehe. It will be great to get away from Baltimore, the tv, the computer.........ahhhhhh.......I am looking forward to this.

So what will I be doing? I will be visiting family that I do not see often enough........and spending lots of time with my mom. Yes I will take lots of pictures and post some of them when I get back.

Meanwhile, I have some stuff I would like to write about but for some reason I am in a rut and haven't been able to find the gumption to do it. I will, however, find my gumption after the trip and start getting busy with writing and maybe even find my artistic self and kick that into gear as well. Truth be told, sometimes it is tough dealing with depression..........yes, even ole Signtopia......even though he has so much wonderfulness in his life.....gets depressed. Most folks take a prescription for such a thing.......me?........no.........I would like to think that I deal with it my own way......however that is. Don't be alarmed though.........I think that everybody gets depressed at times and I simply have my share of it. A nice vacation usually snaps me out of it....hehehe.

Here is something to rattle your minds while I am away from the blogosphere...............

As you surely must know, all sorts of spacecraft has been sent to Mars. Lots of pictures and there has even been craft that has landed there. Some believe that life exists....in some form.....elsewhere other than on earth.........and there never seems to be any proof...........but just maybe...........maybe..........maybe.......we are gonna find out something we might not wanna know...........maybe we will be glad to know............time will tell, but for now, there are some peculiar things that are worthy of note. Consider the following video about Mars and how this dude shows you how to "see" what you would not ordinarily see. Personally, I was stunned by this and I don't really know what to think about it.......... will leave it up to you to see for yourself.

A Little Of Dis & A Little Of Dat

Here we go with some of my random thoughts...........

...........not that these thoughts have any worth........but sometimes a man has to wonder about stuff.

I remember seeing old films of people striking oil and the oil would be spewing all over the place and people were covered with it and it was a huge mess..............we were told that this was a good thing.............somebody struck it rich!.........remember the Beverly Hillbillies?........Ole Jed Clampett struck oil and moved to Bev-er-ly.........Hills that is.....swimming pools........movie stars!

Oil is supposedly scarce these days and we are said to be dependent on foreign oil. As you know by now, somebody hit the motherlode while drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico, off the coast of Louisiana...........hmmmm.....Clampett territory? Well.......You would think people would be all excited about it.......but no. Supposedly, we are still being led to believe that oil is scarce and that it is hard to find........huh?............if it is so scarce and such a limited supply in this part of the planet, then why are we hearing reports where each day the amount spewing out of the floor of the Gulf is increasing in huge numbers and I also hear reports that it appears that this "leak" could go on for months and months......even years and years! This doesn't all add up to me.

And where has Al Gore been during all of this?.........hehehehe......

Today, the boogeyman is BP..........but the real boogeyman sits in Washington DC. Those that made laws restricting all new oil drilling to be so far off the coast that disasters such as this are hard to remedy. The even bigger problem with the oil disaster is that hurricane season starts about now.......this is not a good thing. The Gulf gets its fair share of tropical storms and the problem with this is that you have to remember where these storms get their water from. My guess is that a hurricane might suck up that oily water and dump it from the coastline to miles and miles inland..............think its a mess now?.......we ain't seen nuthin' yet. Stay Tuned!

I am a Baltimore Orioles fan.........and the team absolutely sucks this year.............but I am still a fan............well........there is always hope for next year. It boggles my mind that hitting has been a problem for the past 12 years or so............and we have changed managers, players, stadium attendants, hot dog vendors, and Boog Powell's t-shirts two or three times a year.............but one thing remains constant in the dugout............Terry Crowley the Orioles hitting coach..........Crowley somehow has kept his job all of these years. I do not understand the logic in this.

Another thing I do not understand is..........

..........Former Orioles pitcher and now part of the MASN broadcast team. Notice how he always looks slanted. On camera, he always leans to the side as he speaks..........maybe it his hairstyle........the hair is to heavy on one side. I think it is also the cause for Palmer's continual flubbing and stuttering of players names. I have one other pet peeve regarding Jim Palmer.........he has an obvious and apparent crush on Derek Jeter. The Orioles could be playing against the San Francisco Giants and at least twice during the broadcast he will mention Derek Jeter who plays for the Yankees. I could understand referencing Jeter regarding statistics, but when the broadcast goes like this: "Wigginton got all of that one and as he heads towards second base, Jeter..................."...................Jeter?.........C'mon Jim..........this ain't New York and Jeter has nothing to do with this game. Maybe Palmer is just getting a bit senile.

In a few months, Obama's hair will look like Nelson Mandela's hair...........don't laugh, he no longer dyes it.........it is getting grayer and grayer.

Ever see this guy?.............it's Boston Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis. He's the one whose batting stance looks like a Wii character in the batters box. Everytime I see Youkilis, whose real name, by the way, is Weiner..............that's right, he is a Jewish ballplayer.............everytime I see Youkilis, I am thinking........

Twins separated at birth?

What is it with politicians that they think that if they roll up their sleeves for an appearance in public and for a photo op, that you and I will think they are "working hard". I see this kind of stuff and it just assures me that the end of the world is upon us all. Furthermore, if you or I go to the coast or the beach on the Gulf Coast to get to the bottom of what is happening, we would not walk along that beach eating snowcones..........are you kidding me?.........do you see how hard they are "working"...........how do we know they are "working"?........the snowcones?........NO!.......it is the rolled up sleeves!.........It boggles my mind that would even wear a long sleeved shirt there. I have been to Louisiana at this time of year..........it ain't cold. You can't tell me they couldn't afford a short-sleeved shirt or two. How about a t-shirt and some cut-off jean shorts?

Back to the Orioles again............this is their catcher Matt Wieters............the alleged future superstar...........who can't seem to hit his way out of a paper bag. Think pop-outs and double plays. Whenever I see Wieters face on tv, I am reminded of this guy........

............that's right..........Joran van der Sloot........the soon to be deceased murderer.

Things are just terrible.........ain't it?

Maybe Wieters should grow a beard and start looking like Kevin Youkilis.

Those Wacky Jehovah's Witnesses Are At It Again

I realize that for the majority of people on the planet, Jehovah's Witnesses are simply irrelevant and thus they could care less what Witnesses do or do not do. In the grand scheme of things, generally..........people don't know much about them and see no reason to learn anything about them..........and that is understandable. So here I go finding myself mentioning them on this blog again..........why?..........oh I suppose you could say that there is some unfinished business......hehehe.........then again, you could also say that the world of the Watchtower is like a bad accident.......you know.......you just find yourself having to look at the mess as you drive past.

As I stated, most do not know much about them.........and I would take that even farther by stating that even most of the Witnesses don't even know much about their own group. How can a say such a thing?.......well.......I have had quite a bit of experience chit-chatting with JWs for many, many years and this is what I have observed. For an example, you might want to look into some of my past entries on this blog that mention Jehovah's Witnesses and be sure to look at the comments and my responses to those comments. After reading those, I doubt that I should have to explain it any further to you.

I have written about Venus and Serena Williams before (the blog entry entitled "Jehovah's Witnesses Should Read This").............yes......the famous tennis stars.......and I can safely say that of all of the things I have written about......those particular posts have been the most popular. Don't get the idea that droves of people are interested in Venus and Serena Williams and want to see what I have to say about them.........that is not the case. As it happens, whenever somebody does a Google search and enters the names "Venus & Serena Williams" and they also include the term "Jehovah's Witnesses"........BINGO.........the will likely get a link to this blog just because I have written about them being Jehovah's Witnesses. Furthermore, just in case anyone wonders about such things, I can tell you that there are people from all over the planet that seem to perform such a search........yes, I have a blog tool that provides me with some statistics. And before anybody gets the idea that there are thousands of people coming to this blog on a daily basis to read about whether or not the Williams sisters are Jehovah's Witnesses or not..............that simply is not the case. But of the people that do happen to view this blog, the majority get here by searching for the video of "Mrs. Farting Preacher"......hehehe....go figure........and the second most popular thing appears to be the Venus and Serena Williams issues. Okay then........you may be wondering what came in third?........it's a no-brainer........people search for "the end of the world" and this blog shows up. This is just the way things are and I actually have no control over it.

Okay, so I log on and sign in to Blogger and I get myself prepared to write this and I notice that I have a comment from someone that needed to be addressed. I clicked on it and "Lo and Behold" it is a comment about one of my prior postings about Venus and Serena Williams. For the record, I accept and post all comments and the only exception would be those that have inappropriate language. Otherwise, I have always encouraged people to offer a comment, pro or con..........I can handle it........and in regards to people who happen to be Jehovah's Witnesses....well.......I really, really, really, enjoy allowing them to speak for themselves.....hehehe........after all, they always prove my points......often ultimately confirming what they initially deny.

For whatever reason, the big issue with Venus and Serena Williams is that both of them have said publicly that they are Jehovah's Witnesses. I personally see no good reason for them to lie about it and I have no good reason to not believe them. The problem is, as I have written before, that the Williams sisters participate in things and do things that the rank and file Witnesses could never get away with. Do I dislike the Williams sisters because of this?........NO. Would I like them better if they toed the line as the other JWs do?..........No. Actually, I could care less about the Williams sisters and I really, really, have no interest in tennis. I would also say I wish them no ill will. But there are issues with the Williams sisters.........and those issues are more of an issue because of who the say they are....they both say that they are Jehovah's Witnesses.....remember that.........it is their own words. The problem isn't so much that they are what they are, but moreso that the rest of the Jehovah's Witnesses appear to be a bit befuddled about them.

In the past, the Williams sisters have been seen participating in Nationalistic displays such as carrying the US flag at the Olympics.......no big deal, really, except a JW kid is not even allowed to recite the Pledge Of Allegiance at school. There is a certain level of hypocracy in play. I have suggested before that it may well be that the Williams sisters get away with what they get away with because they have quite a bit of money.............and they probably donate heavily to the Watchtower. Remember Michael Jackson?.........yep.......he was a JW too and made Christmas albums with the entire Jackson Family while being JWs........I suppose the money was rolling in to the Watchtower...........but something went awry when Michael made that Thriller video........so awry that he tried to cool the Watchtower jets by putting a disclaimer on the video that it did not reflect his beliefs. Needless to say, that didn't work. Recently, one of the Williams sisters was ticked off during a tennis match and was caught on tape offering up some choice "witnessing". People were shocked at her ferocious display of anger..........such violent behavior......very unbecoming of a JW, right?

And now the latest hubbub has been the choice of clothing on the tennis court...........clothing that was designed by her.............I can't imagine seeing Jehovah's Witnesses going to people's doors dressed like this..........but yet........if they did, they might be able to pawn off more magazines than ever. I suppose I could spell it all out here but there is a YouTube video that takes care of it all.........even to the extent that the man makes a phone call to the headquarters of the JWs, the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society in NY, to ask if Venus and Serena are Jehovah's Witnesses. I found it amusing because I have done that as well in past years. I have called Kingdom Halls and their headquarters and broadcast it to the planet on Paltalk. Nothing is better than their own words...........check out this video:

Perhaps this is what they will all be wearing in the "New System" of things..............then again..........if you call the Watchtower and ask them for the official word on it the answer you may get is "We don't know".

Oh......and by the way.........remember that recent comment that needed to be addressed?.......well, here it is:

"dollface said... i got to the point to believe that you really really hate JW,and i bet you're a exJW, cos you dont dont really have a point on what your talking about,this is between serena ,her sister williams and jehova, not between you and the organization,im not a JW but i can see what's going on, you just hate them with not reason,you want people to leave JW because what the williams just did ? you're so stupid, not a JW can respond for the williams action,only the williams can."

Hmmm, so because I wrote about the Williams sisters I must really really hate JWs? That is amazing stuff. And Dollface bets that I am an "exJW"..........ROFL.......THAT is hilarious. And the reason that Dollface writes that is because I "don't really have a point on what your talking about"...........hehehe.........this is so funny.

Folks, the JWs always come up with stuff like this in regards to the Williams sisters. Rather than confirm or deny, they simply level some lame insults and then claim that everything is between the Williams sisters and Jehovah.........and let's not overlook that it was written that it is "not between you (meaning me) and the organization".............I must point out that to the JW, the organization IS Jehovah, or at the very least their organization is the equivalent. Oddly, this same commenter wouldn't make the same statement regarding the Williams sisters if it were Dollface or a member of Dollface's family doing the things like the Williams sisters do. That's about all I care to respond to. The rest of the comment is just more bilge.

For the record..........it is obvious to me that folks like Dollface are lost souls who have nothing in them to explain anything.............zero. How could anyone ever expect such to be adept at the bible?

And also, for the record, I have never been a JW nor have I ever entertained such a notion.

Is This Some Sort Of Joke On Everybody Or Is There Something Far More Nefarious Going On?

Maybe I watch far too much television. Maybe that when I watch television.......there are certain things that jump right out and cause me to wonder. And often, I end up wondering if anybody else is taking notice of things........well.......at least some of the things that I see as strange as if there is some sort of joke being put upon everyone.

Consider the most recent US Supreme Court nominee.......you know who I am referring to..........the woman who has never been a judge before..........the one that Obama wants..........Elena Kagan.

At first I thought she looked awfully familiar......sort of a cross between Mama Cass and MSNBC's Rachel Maddow.............Can you see what I mean by that?...............but then I wasn't satisfied with that description because I know I have seen this person before........many times......so many times that it is almost creepy. As I say..........she looks awfully familiar.

So then this guy is on the news........he is the newly elected Governor Christie of New Jersey............and here we go............he looks like Kagan........no, wait........Kagan looks like Christie..........

........and then this other guy named Frank Luntz, a pollster for Fox News, appears on my tv...........and wouldn't you know it?..........Luntz looks like Kagan too......or should I say that Kagan looks like Luntz?

It's not just the tv, either...........I was listening to some progressive rock.........in particular, the band known as Marillion........and I decided to do a little research on that group and I watched some videos and went to their website..............and of course, I ran across this guy:

..........This is Marillion guitarist Steve Rothery..............and..........you got it............Rothery looks just like Kagan........or maybe Kagan looks just like Rothery. So how is it that this Kagan woman looks like so many other people that look like she does? Hmmmmmm...........any guesses?

.........maybe its the ham sandwiches.

On another note........

I was retrieving some change that was on our dining room table the other day and I noticed that the pennies looked very new and shiny.........and that caused me to have a closer look at them.

So this is what I see...............no more Lincoln Memorial on the back. It has been replaced with what looks to me like cheap clip art. This is so bad that it looks like they got the idea fromthe Captain America shield.

So when did all of this happen?........I watch the news every day and I had not seen any mention that the penny was going to "change" along with just about everything else. Whose bright idea was this?.......and who said we could afford the cost involved for this makeover of the penny?

I do not like it......it looks cheaper than what it is worth..........and the kicker is that the penny actually costs more than a penny to make each penny.......go figure.

I think we are all existing in a big joke.

Yeah, I Wore That And The Egg Lady Sold It To Me

Maybe one day some famous or almost famous celebrity will wear a t-shirt with Signtopia on it...............nahhhhhhh........probably not..........but it would be interesting.

Once upon a time.......back in the late 1970's............I found myself roaming around in Fells Point in Baltimore. Back then, I was always looking for another record shop to visit. On that particular day, I walked into a very small shop that had all sorts of used stuff for sale. It was a really cool shop and the proprietor just so happened to be a celebrity...........star of stage and screen and other seedy ventures, none other than Edith Massey. Edith Massey starred in several films made by John Waters.........you know........Hairspray......Pink Flamingos.........that dude.........very strange and odd dude...........and Edith Massey was also a bit odd and strange.

I walked into the shop and there was Edith with her co-hort, a woman that I can only describe as a cross between Cousin Itt and a sea hag from Popeye. Don't get me wrong here.......both Edith and her co-hort were very friendly, nice, and...........well.............the type of characters in the neighborhood that has been long lost in Baltimore since . I looked around the shop and saw a rack of clothing.............and there was this jacket that caught my eye.

Here's Edith Massey as the Egg Lady.

The jacket was really cool......it was burgundy and the material was like velour and there were these little stars all over it..............perfect seventies rock and roll attire............I had to have that jacket for myself................."Three dollars and fifty cents, Hon." said the Egg Lady and I said "Deal". I wore that jacket alot back then..........and the times have changed and styles have changed along with it since those days............but I could never bring myself to ever get rid of that jacket........it was a personal relic for me.......it had significance........it had a story too........and besides.........it was way too cool to just throw away.

The old jacket is in good shape.............but I am not. The jacket is the same as it ever was but it no longer fits............well........today I hover around 216 pounds and back in the late 1970's I was lucky if I was 135 pounds soaking wet. Needless to say, I cannot wear my favorite jacket anymore..........but it is cool.........and I will keep it until I die...........hmmmm......maybe it can be altered and I could be bur...............nahhhhhhh..........forget that idea...........Supernurse won't like that idea.

Yep.........there was an inside pocket too.

It was a tough time for me back then.........but then again it was also a very good time too. This jacket reminds me of those good times I had while I wore it..............man, I could tell you some stories....................but for now I will remain with a smile.

Regarding the Corridor video.........

For some reason I wasn't able to add text below the video.........so here is what I have to say about The Corridor. I accidentally ran across the video while doing some searching for old Bee Gees stuff. Lo and behold the video for The Corridor caught my eye........who is this guy and why did he show up in a Bee Gees search?.......that was the question........not to mention that I thought this Francis Edwards dude looked alot like George Carlin................It turns out that Edwards is an Australian singer whose career was stopped short when he was drafted and sent to Vietnam. He had a contract with the same management as the Bee Gees and who knows what kind of career he could have had. He has quite a story and his mission in life today, apparently is to help Vietnam war veterans......particularly the homeless ones..........now you know the idea behind the song The Corridor.

Not Everything Is Impossible

Sometimes it seems that everything goes wrong.........or doesn't work right........or that some thing will never happen. It is very frustrating. You try and try and try and try and you just know that sooner or later...............

BAM!

You can't win if you don't play.
Sometimes you have to risk it all.

Isn't that true about many things?

In this case, while playing the Invaders From The Planet Moolah slot machine at Charles Town Races & Slots, I went for the gusto.......maximum bets (which I only do occasionally) and proceeded to generate a warm and fuzzy feeling all over my own self...........which also happened to attract a horde of Mexicans who stood there watching in disbelief that a natural born citizen of the USA had any luck at all.......hehehe...........when I looked over my shoulder all I could do was say "Watch and enjoy, amigos!"

Speaking of Charles Town Races & Slots..................what is up with the number of immigrants that are hanging out there? Droves and droves of them......the majority are Mexican and there are quite a few Orientals as well. It is like being in a foreign country........no.....I take that back........the last time I was in Mexico I encountered more English speaking people than in Charles Town, WV. It's true.

I have another peeve about Charles Town Races & Slots............what is up with the continual barrage of public address system paging of every Mexican in the place? Geeeeeessshhhhh!
"Will Hector Rodrigo Jose Esteban Parades Pedro Jorge Gonzales Hernandez please meet the rest of your party at the security desk?" There are so many pages that it would be a better idea to just announce the names of people that do NOT need to meet up with the rest of their party. Maybe this is a cultural thing.......I just do not get it.

Al Gore Phone Home!

I don't believe it is possible to have been alive for the past few days and not have heard the news about recent events that were startling enough to have been an excerpt from the Book of Revelation. No..........the image of Signtopia did not hover in the sky frightening thousands of people and causing chaos.

Surely you must have seen reports about something else in the sky.............a bright light......a fireball.........something went over the horizon.............hmmmmm....it wasn't me........so what was it? From what I have read, no reports offer up any serious assessment or solid answers. Surely you know that we have some very high tech abilities to analyze, inspect, and watch over our skies. Radar, doppler, NORAD, the entire military, telescopes.....etc......etc......you get the picture, right?

But NO.......we ain't getting any picture. All we have is some film from a cop car camera and the like. Is it possible for something to zip across our airspace and no pilot sees it? Is it possible for NORAD not to have seen it and tracked it and know where it hits? Is it possible that absolutely no scientists or astronomers seen this coming? Is it possible that there may be something going on that "they" may not be telling us? I don't know about you, but to me this is HUGE.

Contrails........right? And those contrails are not from the large bright light. They are from something else.Look at the photo above............that's a huge bright light in the sky, yes..........and we don't know what it is...............but look at what else is in the picture. I see two streaks.......don't you? Okay.........if those are from jet airliners........then those pilots would have had quite a look at what went zipping past them at an extraordinary speed. If those contrails are from something military........a fighter jet or two.......then they know what it is. If those contrails are from shot at whatever caused the bright light we may never know. Either way it is a mystery and it boggles my mind that all we can come up with is some speculation about it. That alone, is scary. Norad can track Santa Claus but it missed something real......go figure.............we all need to worry about this.

But here is something explainable..................biblical proportions of ash spewing forth from a volcano in Iceland. Such proportions that flights had to be cancelled all over Europe.......and this is just from one measly volcano. Imagine the impact...........stuff like this is what caused mini ice-ages throughout the history of the planet...........and this isn't because of something humans do or might do and even continue to do. Stuff like this must make the Goracle toss and turn and night and slap Tipper with a stack of Parental Advisory stickers. So where is Al Gore while all of this is happening?

Al Gore (The Goracle) never seems to talk about this stuff.......and it is those things such as natural occurring volcanic activity and earthquakes that should be worried about. Does Al Gore take up the cause and plead for people to stop living on fault lines? Does he beg for us to not fly in planes because a meteor or some unknown object might hit us? No.......he doesn't.

As huge as the volcano eruption in Iceland is and the impact it will and does have on our planet............it is minor league. Even worse is the caldera that is brewing at Yellowstone. Surely you have heard about that.........right? If you haven't heard........just Google it and educate yourself................you will be amazed. The image shown above is a small indication of just how active the caldera has been. Each dark speck......and there are thousands of them.......are earthquakes. Shocking isn't it?

So where is the Goracle?............maybe Al Gore should phone home.

April Fools Day

Okay.......I know it's been several days since I last posted on the blog.........I simply chose not to do so even though there has been much to write about. After some nearly deep consideration, I figured I would keep the majority of stuff that I would write.......to myself.......and thus probably keep from getting on some anti-government blacklist...........oh......and lest anyone think it is not possible or probable, I DO know the locations of everyone that reads this blog.......and Washington DC comes up often........so there. Don't take that as me being paranoid in any way shape or form.......I am not........but surely you must know by now that I have absolutely no trust in the US government and the thugs that run it. Oh well......I am getting off into a rant of which I have been avoiding so I will get a grip and resist and get back to the April Fools thang.

Happy April Fools Day everybody. What better day than to recognize and give kudos to President Obama..........after all........he sure does know how to round up and capitalize on every fool in the United States.......from now on he should always be remembered as the Leader Of Fools. Without any doubt, we are all going down the tubes. On a side note........go figure that the government deadline for us to turn in our census forms is April 1st........how appropriate.

Also, it probably is no coincidence that April Fools Day this year comes right after the day that Jehovah's Witnesses attend their annual ritual of rejecting the symbolic flesh and blood of Jesus Christ.....known as "the Memorial"..........what a bunch of fools.

So here is to all of the Fools............don't you feel all warm and fuzzy?

Folk Ups - Too Much

I have been a fan of The Tubes for a long, long, time. Bill "Sputnik" Spooner played guitar, sang, and wrote the majority of The Tubes songs. When it "stopped being fun" and "to get healthy", Spooner quit the group. He didn't entirely disappear though......he has his own studio in his home and teaches and performs in the San Francisco area. One of his after-Tubes experiences was the Folk-ups. In this video, Bill Spooner sings the song Too Much. Pay attention to the words of the song. This song may well be the anthem for every disabled, or unable to work man whose wife is the breadwinner. For me, this song comes across as a bit ironic for Spooner, the shoe is on the other foot since leaving the life as a Tube. Also, for me, this song pretty much tells the story about Supernurse, my wife. The absolutely touching moment of the song are the lyrics at the end. I feel the same way as Bill Spooner does.

400 Blog Posts Later And It's Still The End Of The World!

I never thought that I would still be writing on this blog at this point. Not because the end of the world would have happened by now......or that our government would have banned blogging by now............or that my focus would be on other things. I can safely say that this blog has been about so many things that it has kept my interest for so long. Today is a milestone.........this is my 400th post..................imagine that.

I don't get paid.......I am no member of any club or organization........and I certainly ain't trying to impress anyone by having a blog. While there are so many things to write about and share with the world, there is one particular point for everything that is written here. If you have been reading this blog you must have gotten the concept by now............It's The End Of The World!

The End Of The World is not a quick thing but something that has been going on for a long long time...........and lately, it's been speeding up its process. Every indicator you can imagine........every sign has been displayed......but not everybody has paid attention.

Here are a few more examples of our demise that I have noticed:

I remember that there was a time when our family bought ice cream from the wonderful Good Humor Truck that would ride through our neighborhood every day during the summer. In business, it is said that a good presentation practically guarantees a sale. Back then, the Good Humor vehicles were clean, well kept, and were eye-catching.....there were no other trucks like them..........one of a kind........and that jingle of the bells told everyone that ice cream was coming down your street and you needed to get your money ready........"Wait A Minute!" we would scream as we ran home to get some change..............ahhhhhhh it was wonderful..............but time has passed and a new era has taken over............the new era?............yeah........the End Of The World Era.

This is the Ice Cream Truck as it looks today. Not very inviting at all............very ugly and looking like rolling chaos. Is this progress?........I don't think so............Is this gonna be a fond memory for the kids in the future after they have grown up?..........of course not.........if we make it another twenty years can anyone imagine what an ice cream truck will look like?...........this should be a prime indication of our demise.

I doubt that you will ever see an article in a Watchtower magazine about ice cream trucks.........it is probably not scary enough to get you to join their cult. Take a look at the date of the magazine and then get a gander at the imagery on the cover. Think about it for a minute. Some may say "Oh well.......I don't see anything".......others might say "It's all about history". I can understand both views about the cover................but I see something like this and wonder about it because of the old saying "hindsight is 20/20".

A closer look at this particular image on the cover should make you cringe. That's right.......it's the World Trade Center in New York City.............and there is a passenger jet heading right for it!
Okay.........some of you might say "So What?"...........look at the date..........it was long before the events of 9-11. Those events were acts of terrorism. Now some of you might say "This has nothing to do with terrorism" and some might even try to say that the Watchtower was "prophetic"..................I disagree.

In my view, I am suspicious. It is way too coincidental. I know that the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society, Inc. is a business.......first and foremost. Businesses, if they are good at what they do, invest in themselves.........invest in things that will make their business grow. Think about that. Now imagine what the Watchtower corporations......yes, there are several......invests in. One of their holdings is in a company called Reg-Tech....or RegiTech. It's a company that develops very quiet engine technology for use in things like smart bombs and those very small predator drones that have been used in both the Iraq war and the Afghan war. Some Jehovah's Witness apologists have made all sorts of excuses for such holdings........but have yet to come up with any valid excuse for RegTech pretty much exclusively seeking out and getting Defense Department contracts. To me.......this is an investment in their business. What is their business?...........the End Of The World...........Armageddon. Perhaps the Watchtower doesn't really want to encourage the End Of The World, but I have no doubt that the Watchtower would want to make investments in things that will make it seem like the end of the world is about to occur......at least to its members and recruits. The closer it looks, the better shot they have at convincing the people that answer the door to join their cult. What does all of this have to do with 9-11?.......well.......the Watchtower has been a failure throughout its history in regards to prophecy. I can write about all of those failed prophecies some other time. But because of so many failed prophecies and lack of any prophecies that have come true, I have to look at them as simply as the business that it is. I have no proof......but I sure would love to get a gander the Watchtower money trail. Only then will the truth be known. To refresh your memory........Terrorists have been said to be financed by many entities, of which, some are religious organizations and charities. They get their money from somwhere. It would not surprise me one bit if the Watchtower secretly "donated" to encourage a particular event displayed in their magazine. Business.................End Of The World business.

It's a Pakistan Airlines advertisement.........hmmmmm......gotta think long and hard about this..................I get the impression that we have all been hoodwinked and are not being told the truth.

Another indication of our demise..................pants on the ground.............surely you have noticed that.

And finally, Yellowstone...............as in the Yellowstone CALDERA. It has been very active lately........in case you hadn't noticed. If this caldera erupts........it is all over, folks.
